Wanha Karhunmäki stands in the middle of the most beautiful Finnish nature and that offers chances to diverse outdoor activities all the year round. The broad grounds and waterside are cosy to both children and adults.

The bell foundry of Somppi and the Jussi's Wine are located near Karhunmäki. The downhill skiing centre of Simpsiö is just 5 kilometres away. The rivers Kyrönjoki and Lapuanjoki have a lot to offer to canoeists and fishers. Flood protection is possible to get acquainted with in Malkakoski's embankment. From the top of the hill Simpsiönvuori is possible to see a wide-ranging expanse of field. Also the nearby towns of Lapua, Ylistaro, Seinäjoki, Alajärvi, Ylihärmä and Vaasa have many possibilities to offer.

We have a handsome new hut onshore for 30 people, just about 150 metres from the farmyard. The hut is available to order. There you can cook i.e. salmon or pancakes or make coffee. Dishes and equipment are on hand. A great place to spend an evening gathering or make the world a better place by talk!
